The Learning Center

About this Program

What if there was a place that made your kid LOVE learning to the point that they don’t realize that they are learning?  And, they are not only learning but absorbing and retaining what they learn?  That is what The Learning Center offers your child…  an experiential environment where they get to LIVE LEARNING not just read about it.

Unfortunately, they may love it so much, they might not want to come home.

What they experience

For example, on Memorial Day, we offered an immersive week, exploring the history of why Memorial day exists. Our future filmmakers created a video to commemorate our fallen heroes and to solidify their understanding of Memorial Day.  We also know how to have fun, like when we celebrate National Donut Day (we know you wish you were a kid), as well as other “national holidays” that are important for kids to celebrate.  Our staff also ensures that the kids are well versed in current events, children’s bestsellers, and the other important elements in a child’s curriculum — all geared toward improving their experience with learning,  with the goal of positively impacting the rest of their educational experience.  During the school year, we offer homework assistance — offering one-on-one help where your child might be struggling.

Improved Academic Performance

We know when a child starts to love learning, they have increased comprehension and retention.  We know that by implementing a “growth mindset” a child learns to embrace challenges, persists in the face of setbacks, takes responsibility for their words and actions, and acknowledges that effort is the path toward mastery.  So while it appears to be fun and games for your child, we know the proof is in our pudding —  enhanced academic outcomes.

How the Learning Center Helps our Kids

Motor Skills
Motor Skills
Kinesthetic discrimination is the ability to discern subtle changes that involve muscle feeling and body motions. We work with the whole child by using spatial awareness and orientation to develop muscle memory and a robust kinesthetic sense.
Decision Making
Decision Making
A growth mindset is emphasized at the CLUB, giving the children a chance to grow from mistakes and move positively through the process of the learning project. They can see all learning as growth and develop a strong sense of self and personalize their knowledge with more persuasive decision-making skills.
Language Development
Language Development
Students engage and explore the projects getting a chance to explain and evaluate what they are working on. The activities and lessons they learn are to focus on life skills that help them communicate and process their thoughts in a community setting.
Visual Learning
Visual Learning
Students enhance their learning style while developing strengths in other methods as well. Visual Learning is a style used widely in Education and Business. The CLUB for YOUth will enhance everyone’s ability to utilize visual learning aids in project-based learning, community-based projects, and individualized learning.
Inventiveness
Inventiveness
All children have a creative spirit! At the CLUB we Focus on their creativity and bring to life the ability for them to take what they have learned and develop the process of exploring more options of creating and improving their ability to work on projects that advance the whole brain and soul in an inventive way.
